You send the area, we deliver the report
Nothing to install, nothing to learn. You give us a perimeter; we run the digital terrain model through the seven relief layers, we check every retained form, and we hand you a workable file within five working days.
Just tell us the area. We check free of charge that it is covered by usable LiDAR before replying — that is the first question, and it decides everything.
What you receive
- The full PDF report: every retained form, its four measurements, the criteria it meets, those it fails, and what it may be confused with.
- Layers you can load straight into your GIS: GeoPackage and Shapefile, georeferenced, ready for QGIS or ArcGIS.
- The verification views: local relief, sky-view factor, convexity, multi-directional hillshade — so you can judge for yourself.
- The source table, with the acquisition date of each tile and the actual resolution of the point cloud.

Prices exclude sales tax, per area, report and layers included. A second area ordered within the same campaign qualifies for a reduced rate — just ask.
Everything depends on the data
Dense airborne LiDAR does not cover all of Europe, and progress varies sharply between countries. Where national coverage is complete and open, analysis starts immediately. Elsewhere it takes either a regional acquisition or a dedicated flight — and in that case we tell you before you waste time on it.
This check is free and carries no obligation. We would rather turn an area down than deliver an empty report.
What we don't promise
The software produces hypotheses, not diagnoses. It tells you where to look and why; it replaces neither test excavation, nor pedestrian survey, nor your own judgment.
The rates we publish — 75 % of barrows, 70 % of mottes — were measured on 177 listed monuments covered by the French LiDAR HD program. They hold for those types and that data. On a coarser acquisition, detection of low-relief features drops, and we will write that into the quote rather than let you find out afterward.
We date nothing. A Bronze Age mound and an early medieval mound share the same geometry; topography cannot tell them apart, and no software can.
Or do it yourself
If you process several areas a year, the license costs less than the service from the third study onward. Both give you exactly the same engine — the service only spares you the installation and the learning curve.
